4 Reasons to Attend an Industry Press Conference

4 Reasons to Attend an Industry Press Conference

Balance Claims will be attending the Win the Storm Conference in Las Vegas from March 1st – 3rd. What is Win the Storm? It is a three-day conference dedicated to giving excellent training to the insurance restoration industry! Companies can hear from awesome speakers and industry giants, as well as interact with vendors. The goal is to take you out of your comfort zone, and take your contracting business to the next level.

At Balance Claims, our goal is the same, and we’re excited to have a booth at the WTS Conference for the 3rd consecutive year. We will be at Booth 835 in the Vendor Area, as well as presenting!

All business owners are busy, and many don’t see the benefit to taking a few days away from the office to participate in a conference. But these live meetings can help you uncover new ways to grow your business. For example, speaking with Balance Claims and learning that we can increase your overage on claims in way less time! There is power in being connected to other people that are active in your line of work. Here are 4 reasons to attend an industry conference like Win the Storm:

  1. Educational Opportunities

Even the most experienced contractor has something to learn. At Win the Storm, you can hear from speakers covering a wide range of insurance restoration topics. It is always good to gain new perspective on your industry.

  1. Network/Meet New Vendors

Don’t hide from the Vendor Area at any conference! You can discover innovative products and businesses practices necessary to stay competitive in our industry. Competitors from other areas of the country can actually become a valuable resource to your business. Collaboration with other insurance restoration companies, vendors, and suppliers is a great way to increase your growth potential.

  1. Build Your Reputation

By attending a conference year after year, you position yourself and your business as someone who wants to learn and grow. Often time if you’re engaged long term, you will be asked to present at that conference or write articles for publications. Clients feel good about working with companies that have made it clear that they know their business.

  1. Travel – Have Fun!

Whatever your business, it should always be rewarding and fun. Never turn down an opportunity to travel and spend a few days outside of the office. At a conference like Win the Storm, there are a number of non-industry related activities so that you can cut loose a little bit. There’s NASCAR, nightclubbing, 80’s cover bands, Battlefield Las Vegas and more!

Balance Claims looks forward to seeing you at the 2018 Win the Storm Conference! Learn more about WTS here, and visit our website and booth 835 to learn how to maximize your profits.
